Dr. Wood is passionate about feline medicine and has been practising feline-only medicine for 28 years now. She has been a member of the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) since 1998 and has the Feline Friendly Veterinary Certification through AAFP.

Dr. Wood and her husband, Wayne, own the Cozy Cats Cottage and have loved caring for other people’s cats there since 2005. At home, she currently has 3 cats and 1 dog, and 1 additional cat that lives at the Cat Cottage.
