Dr. Huxham grew up in the Comox Valley and is proud to call this beautiful place home. She always knew she would return after graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. The stunning landscape, ocean views, and endless outdoor activities drew her back home.

Throughout Dr. Huxham’s ten years in the Veterinary industry, she has found a passion for internal medicine, nutrition, dentistry, surgery, and overall pet wellness. She has diverse interests and enjoys connecting with people with the common goal of enhancing pet health. As a pet owner, she understands how our pets greatly improve our lives and is passionate about maximizing that potential. Dr. Huxham is Fear Free Certified.

At home, she has two chihuahuas named Sprout and Fern and a cat named Bow. In February 2021, Dr. Huxham and her husband proudly welcomed their son, Nate who is the light of their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, walking her dogs, gardening, camping, and spending time with her family at the lake.
